Dr. Patrice Powell is an esteemed African American board-certified Nurse Practitioner based in Queens, NY. Her medical career began as a registered nurse at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where she later advanced to become a Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Powell graduated with honors from Adelphi University and earned board certification through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2013.
With a wealth of experience, Dr. Powell has made significant contributions in healthcare. She has worked extensively in various roles, including as a Clinical Nurse Practitioner in Transplant Nephrology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her early career in internal medicine and part-time home care demonstrates her steadfast commitment to underserved communities.
Driven by her passion for internal medicine and community care, Dr. Powell transitioned to serving her local community in Queens. She practiced as a Nurse Practitioner in internal medicine at AdvantageCare Physicians while continuing her dedication to home care services. Her pursuit of excellence in healthcare led her to earn a Doctoral degree with honors from Chamberlain University.
