Childless, Not by Choice — My Journey of Healing and Hope

Childless, Not by Choice — My Journey of Healing and Hope

This story is deeply personal.
For years, I’ve faced uterine fibroids, obesity, and the realities of choosing education, career, and stability before family. Along the way were wrong partners, difficult lessons, and seasons where I gave so much of myself to others that I forgot to care for me.

My first fibroid procedure offered hope, but the fibroids returned. The stress, the exhaustion, and starting a new phase in my career during this time led to a heartbreaking miscarriage — one of the hardest moments of my life.

Now, almost one year post-myomectomy, I’m learning what true healing looks like — physically, emotionally, and spiritually. At 41, I’m still hopeful about the future, but I’ve also made peace with the idea that legacy takes many forms. My legacy lives through my patients, my work, and the compassion I bring to every person I meet.

To every woman who finds herself walking a similar path — know that you are not alone.
You are still whole. You are still worthy. And your purpose remains beautifully alive.

💚 Awareness matters.
Fibroids, reproductive health, and emotional wellness deserve open, judgment-free conversations. When we share our stories, we help others heal — and in doing so, we heal ourselves.
